On a regular base we are asked for murals, prints covering complete walls. We can print strips of several meters long and 105cm / 41.3" wide. It speaks for itself that the original image should be of very good quality, at least PhotoCD, studio quality of 6Mpixel and razor sharp. We divide the image in strips, sample it up and start printing the separate strips.

Normally you will receive the print with paper margins. Although cutting away the edges is a bit extra work it is a way to protect the image itself from damage caused by the shipping-agent. We can cut away the margins, but we don't prefer to do this and you will be charged extra for it

We hear good news about sticking the prints -bases on satin photo paper - against MDF walls with heavy duty wallpaper paste like "Perfax heavy quality". The wall must be absolutely free of asperities. Take care to have enough hands, help. Brush both the back of the image and the wall and let it soak. A warning is at its place: no wallpaper paste should get on the front, it causes visible traces that cannot be removed. The advantage of wallpaper paste is that the position can be corrected slightly. Do not press the paper by rubbing and don't use (soft) cloth, it will result in scratches. You can use a soft roller but watch out at the edges, because paste can come out there and ruin the print. You may want to use an old sheet between the roller and the paper. Just like with normal wallpaper, edges can curl a bit after drying. You may want to use synthetic glue to solve this carefully.

As far as the price is concerned you can use site prices. On one hand you order more than usual, on the other hand we have more editing work to do. This more or less compensates each other.
