Intro

ArtAndRepro.com's main objective is to make large format prints, nothing more, nothing less. To assist this core business we plan to implement a system enabling artists to get more exposure and revenues. So far the cold business. The warm side is our affection for alternative copyright forms such as Creative Commons and preserving the public domain. Nevertheless if you apply plain copyright it's ok too. We believe working close with artists and photographers benefits us all. So what is the plan?

The principle

The idea is to make a database driven portal with your images where visitors find it easy to navigate by choosing artists names, license forms, searching for keywords, etc.. Artists can upload their works in confidence and assign information on a per image base such as license form, royalty amount and beneficiary. You can keep the money yourself but you may want to sponsor projects deserving some support too. A central ordering system will take care of the following:
Orders will be printed and shipped worldwide, artists will get a notice.
After shipment clients will be charged and royaties will be paid.
