On a regular base we are asked to sponsor large format prints. This page discusses possibilities. Sponsoring is only applicable to projects that have to do with "freedom of information". Involved organizations - like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Software Free Software], [http://www.ffii.org FFII] and [http://www.vrijschrift.org Vrijschrift] - can count on us.
There are two ways to help you:
- You can use our yearly budget until it is vaporized. Think about banners for demo's, etc..
- Another way is to use the rests of the media rolls we print from because the quality is good, but sometimes not good enough to sell. These prints are ~ 70cm x 100cm or smaller.
All sponsored works must be published and a link to http://www.artandrepro.com is appreciated very much. A proper thumbnail/preview should be included on this wiki.
Sponsoring is only applicable for works in the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_Domain Public Domain] or under a Creative Commons Sa-BY or BY-ND or BY license or [http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/fdl.html GFDL license]. If you've never heard of Creative Commons, [http://creativecommons.org/faq please read their FAQ].
A special kind of sponsoring is partly based on mutual benefit and partly because we nurture free information. A tryout can be found at http://blender.artandrepro.com in which case we reserve money for every print and donate it to the project.
